TRENTON, NJ — The number of people allowed to gather outdoors in New Jersey will be reduced to 25, and indoor youth sports will be prohibited until 2021 in the state, according to a report published by NBC 10 Philadelphia on Monday.
The latest sweeping restrictions coming from Governor Phil Murphy would cut the outdoor gathering limits from the current 150 people to 25, a source told News 4 New York. Just two weeks ago, that outdoor gathering limit was 500, before the Governor slashed it to 150 beginning Nov. 23.
While indoor sports would be banned for school-aged kids from graded K-12, outdoor sports would be allowed to continue. The indoor sports ban would begin Friday, Dec. 4.
