About Upper Structure
Hailing from Berklee College of Music, Upper Structure is an award winning co-ed a cappella group making waves in the a cappella world. In just three years, the group has released a debut album, toured the country, and most recently won its ICCA semifinal, on its way to represent the Northeast in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella Finals in New York City (as seen in the film “Pitch Perfect”). With members from around the world coming together, Upper Structure creates a sound that is innovative, refreshing, emotional, and fun.
Under the direction of Newark Academy's Choral Director Viraj Lal, LumeNAtion has enjoyed recent success in the International Championship of High School A Cappella, winning their Quarterfinal and advancing to Semifinals, taking home the Outstanding Solo award.
Upper Structure will be performing much of their repertoire at Christ Church on Thursday, including music from their debut album, Bridges, available now on all music platforms for streaming or purchase: https://song.link/bridges
