SPRINGFIELD, NJ - Monday was just the second date of the Farmer’s Market in Springfield and another vendor joined for the first time - el Lechon de Negron food truck, which offers authentic Puerto Rican cuisine.
The el Lechon de Negron food truck will be in front of the Springfield Free Public Library on July 24 and July 31 and August 14 and August 21. It will be there only one day in September, the 18. In October, it is scheduled for October 2, October 16, October 23, and October 30.
Tiffany Negron and her family run the food truck business in conjunction with their restaurant at 1331 Magie Street in Union of the same name.
Other vendors at the Springfield Farmer's Market includes two farms providing fresh picked produce and Barbara’s Kitchen, which is stocked with many different salsas and jams and local honey.
Springfield’s Farmers’ Market is scheduled every Monday through October on the front lawn of the Springfield Free Public Library from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
