ONEONTA, NY - Richard Yamarone, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations for Innovative Computer Environments. Inc., has been named a SUNY Oneonta Alumni of Distinction honoree. Yamarone, a resident of Maplewood, NJ, is a 1985 graduate of SUNY Oneonta.
In recognition of the college's 125th anniversary, the SUNY Oneonta Alumni Association established the Alumni of Distinction program to honor graduates who have distinguished themselves through their careers, their service to their communities and their commitment to the college. Selected from nominations by faculty, staff and alumni, these individuals represent just a few of the thousands of alumni who contribute in countless ways to the college, to their communities and to their professions.
The 2014 Alumni of Distinction honorees were recognized at a ceremony on Sept. 5, 2014. The 2015 reception will be held on Sept. 4, in conjunction with Red Day, the anniversary of the founding of the college.
