Rosemary Wells, author of the beloved Max & Ruby series, will deliver the closing children’s keynote address at the Maplewood-South Orange Book Festival on Saturday, June 9th. Rosemary will speak at 3:30 pm in the Great Hall at the Woodland. Kids and their parents are welcome to attend. The event is free of charge.

Rosemary’s address will be the culmination of the book festival children’s area and fun zone, which will run from 10am-3:30pm in the Woodland parking lot, and feature 40 children’s and YA authors signing their books and meeting and greeting fans. Books will be for sale from Words Bookstore. The children’s area will also feature face-painting, music, fun and games like giant jenga and giant checkers, as well as kids-related activities courtesy of Work and Play, Macaroni Kids, and the Writer’s Circle. There will also be food trucks on the premises. The children’s area is also free of charge.

Here is a complete list of the children’s authors.
