SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - The 7-Eleven convenience store on Valley Street sold a winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket from the Tuesday, May 14 drawing.
The winning numbers were 12, 13, 17, 23 and 29 and the XTRA number was 4, according to New Jersey Lottery.
The winning ticket matched all five numbers drawn and the winning prize is $353,354.
"Overnight, they [7-11] have become one more 'lucky location' for the very fortunate lottery winner," said New Jersey Lottery Acting Executive Director James Carey in a press release on Wednesday.
Carey said the retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket.
There was a total of 416,286 tickets purchased for the May 14 drawing, according to New Jersey Lottery, from just over 7,000 retailers in the state. By adding XTRA for an additional $1 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn.
For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 110 ticketholders won $331 each and 14 others won $1,324 each with the addition of XTRA. For correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 3,085 ticketholders won $12 each and 501 others won $48 each with the addition of XTRA. Winners who correctly drew two of the five winning numbers with the addition of XTRAA included 6,184 ticketholders who won $2 each.
Jersey Cash 5 tickets are sold for $1 each.
The New Jersey Lottery Media Department did not have information about the winner as of Wednesday afternoon.
