SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - The South Orange Health Department held their 11th Annual Free Health Fair at the South Orange Fire House on Saturday, September 9.

John Festa, South Orange's Health Officer, organized the event which had a variety of no-cost health screenings and informational tables including a pediatric dental screening bus for children, nutritonal guidance from University Hospital, and new to the fair this year, Respiratory Therapy with a Spirometer.

The Saint Barnabas Medical Center’s Community Health & Outreach Team provided a variety of free screenings including blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol, and Hepatitis B

There was also a blood mobile at the event where people could donate blood.

In addition to health screenings, the fair also had activities for kids, including face painting and balloons.
