SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - The sixth annual National Night Out in South Orange will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at Floods Hill from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Sponsored by South Orange Village, the South Orange Police Department, the South Orange Fire Department, the South Orange Rescue Squad and the CERT team, the evening will include live music from "Aisle Five" a rock/pop cover band, as well as lots of activities for kids, and the opportunity to meet with local organizations to learn more about how the community can work together for public safety. 

For kids there will be a "Kids Zone" with bounce houses, coloring stations, activities and plenty of free giveaways from t-shirts to frisbees and glow sticks.

There will also be food trucks at the event.

The night will conclude with an 8:30 p.m. showing of "Big Hero 6," with complimentary popcorn and cotton candy. Movie goers are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
