SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - South Orange Summer Nights are in full swing, with Art in the Park taking place since June, and Concerts in the Park since July 5. In August, there will be a Moonlight Movies series.

All events take place on Floods Hill in Meadowland Park. Event organizers encourage concert-goers to arrive early to order from the food trucks and to pick out a spot on the lawn.

Art in the Park is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and recommenced for adults and children ages 6 and older.

Schedule is as follows:
WED., JULY 19 
Balloon Sculpture. Help create a balloon monster! 

WED., JULY 26 
Sew it Up. Step two of a fun community fiber art project. Add colorful thread to the squirt painted sheet. 

Confetti Mural. We will end the season with a BANG! Lets work together on a beautiful confetti mural.



Concerts in the park begin at 7:30 p.m. at Floods Hill in Meadowland Park.

WED., JULY 26 - Counterfeiters (80s, 90s Party Band) 

WED., AUGUST 2 - Rock the Hill (Garage Bands)



Moonlit Movies begin at 8:15 p.m. at Floods Hill in Meadowland Park. Schedule is as follows:

WED., AUGUST 9 - Sing 

WED., AUGUST 16 - Grease 

WED., AUGUST 23 - Pitch Perfect 

WED., AUGUST 30 - Beauty and the Beast 

South Orange Summer Nights is jointly produced by the South Orange Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs and South Orange Performing Arts Center. 

Programs will be canceled in the event of inclement weather.
