During her tenure as a Trustee, Caselnova has assisted the Komen North Jersey staff with marketing support for its annual Pink Tie Party(she served as its Co-Chair in 2017 and 2018), as well as Race for the Cure®and other events and activities that raise awareness of breast cancer and drive fundraising in support of the Affiliate. Prior to Dun & Bradstreet, she held communications leadership roles at TD Ameritrade, CIT Group, Inc. and Honeywell.

Harbison was motivated to take on a greater role with the Komen North Jersey Board both personally and professionally. “I had a very close friend who was diagnosed early with breast cancer,” he says. “She fought it for 11 years, and during the last few years of her life, she became very dependent on the Komen Affiliate in Philadelphia. She was very supportive of them, and that inspired me to become involved here. Komen North Jersey is a great organization. I find it incredibly rewarding to work side-by-side with them, helping people get access to care and become aware. And working for Horizon—making sure that people have insurance coverage and get the care they need—is a natural extension of that. I am fortunate, and honored, that my company encourages me to participate. I feel like I’m making a difference right here in our communities.”
