WESTFIELD, NJ – Spice Bazaar opened recently at 114 Quimby St., bringing a unique North Indian dining experience to downtown Westfield.
Owners Kanika Vij and Simran Bakshi aim to celebrate Indian cuisine through the combination of traditional dishes and modern dining ideas. They expressed their excitement about presenting this restaurant to Westfield.
“We love the community and how everyone knows each other in this town,” Vij shared. “The culture and the downtown is the place to be. We are so happy to be a part of it.”
Spice Bazaar offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options including chicken tikka masala, kababs, fried fish, various curry dishes, tandoori bread and gulab jamon – hot friend dumplings soaked in sugar-honey syrup.
“They say ‘Variety is the spice of life,’” Vij said. “At Spice Bazaar, we believe spice is life.”
