MAPLEWOOD, NJ - A large crowd of supporters, as well as celebrity bartenders, gathered at St. James's Gate on Wednesday, June 14, for a kickoff party for the 3rd Bob Miller Oysterfest, which is scheduled for September 16, at The Woodland in Maplewood.

In addition to a variety of food and beverages, there were two different raffles at the kickoff event, both donating their proceeds to the Bob Miller Oysterfest.

The first drawing was for a variety of items, including Mets and other sporting event tickets, followed by the major drawing: a trip for two to the Galway Oyster Festival in Ireland in September.

Terry Sekel, who with her husband John were last year’s raffle winners, picked the winning ticket. John Meade, Jr., St. James's Gate owner, announced the winners, Marli and Todd Craig, who enthusiastically claimed their prize.
