SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — A forum titled Traditional Media, Social Media, and the Polarization of the Electorate will be held online Monday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m.

"Our target audience is primarily the residents from East Orange, Orange, South Orange and Maplewood," said South Orange Village Trustee Steve Schnall, who will moderate the discussion with NJ State Senator Vin Gopal (Dist. 11-D), former Village President Alex Torpey, and Robert Pallitto, Seton Hall University Professor of Polictical Science and Public Administration and a former public interest lawyer.

The discussion is coordinated by the Digital Citizenry Project, which Schnall said "explores ways in which the digital world impacts how citizens relate to and are involved with their Community, especially through the lens of government and politics.
