MAPLEWOOD, NJ -- The Columbia High School girls and boys swim teams each won their dual meets against West Orange this week.

In the Columbia girls' 102-68 win, Addie Weiner of Columbia won the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:06.46. Other winners for the Cougars included Maya Glenn in the 100 fly (1:03.96) and the 100 breaststroke (1:13.02), and Katharina Dowlin in the 100 freestyle (0:57.94).

In the Columbia boys' 99-71 victory, the 200 meter relay team of Aidan Dwyer, Thaddeus Bernard, Issac Ortiz and Declan Lynch won with a time of 1:48.44. Lynch won the 200 freestyle in 1:56.10 and the 50 free in 5:14.53. Bernard captured the 50 freestyle with 24.60 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:08.19.

The foursome of Aidan Dwyer, Thaddeus Bernard, Declan Lynch and Spencer Haines won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:40.67.
