TAPinto.net today revealed a new site design and announced that, in May, it exceeded its all-time readership numbers for one month, registering more than 639,000 readers and 1.6 million pageviews.

TAPinto's redesign includes more user-friendly navigation, more white space and a sleeker and more refined look, Chief Executive Officer Michael Shapiro said.

During the past year, more than 4.6 million readers used TAPinto to get local news and information. In May 2016, 639,508 readers visited the site, compared to 360,178 in May 2015, an increase of 77.55 percent. Pages viewed increased from 918,871 in May 2015 to 1,635,953 in May 2016, Shapiro said.
