Join us at the South Orange Public Library February 24-25-26 for a weekend of events for teens, families and everyone else to listen and share thoughts and to talk about all that matters to us every day, like words and arts and information.
Arts will be the focus on Friday night starting at 6:30 p.m.. Arts Matter, an evening of Music, Drama, Dance, and More is especially designed for teens and their families; everyone is welcome to attend.
On Saturday, February 25, there will be documentaries about things that matter showing throughout the day. At 2 p.m., we invite children of all ages, and their families, to come to “Speaking Up” a program using puppets with Jennifer Rutz, to find out what the younger members of our community are thinking about.
A panel discussion on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. will feature your neighbors – community members of various professions talking about “Information, Facts, Truth” followed by extended conversation. Please drop in at any time over the weekend and attend one program - or all. Drop in for a conversation, a new thought, and to share your idea of one small thing to do that matters.
The South Orange Public Library is located at 65 Scotland Road in South Orange.
