Gillette, NJ and East Orange, NJ - On September 11, agents from Towne Realty Group’s Short Hills office participated the North Central Jersey Board of Realtors day of volunteering. The Realtors® Care Day, who provided two homeowners with fifty volunteers from local real estate offices, to help with scraping, sanding, painting and landscaping of homes and yards, that needed special attention. Applications were reviewed by a committee and only homeowners who were not planning to sell, were considered for assistance.

The Towne team, which consisted of  fourteen sales associates in total, volunteered in two shifts, to repair homes selected due to critical home maintenance needs. For several hours, agents put down their cell phones and picked up their tools, to help provide a safer, cleaner and more stable home in which to live.

Every day, Realtors® make the American Dream a reality, and each year the goal is to come together to help sustain that dream for those who need our assistance. Many in our community lack the physical ability and/or financial resources to maintain their homes, resulting in an unsafe living situation. Towne Realty Group has made a firm commitment to participate in these programs and will continue to answer the call to volunteer when needed.

If you are thinking of buying or selling a home, please feel free to contact Towne Realty Group. LLC or visit their website at Licensed Realtors, independently owned and operated.
