MAPLEWOOD, NJ - Captain Dawn Williams of the Maplewood Police Department has released a statement that two students, both 15-year-old males who attend Columbia High School, reported "being the victim of a robbery while walking to school" between 7 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. on Thursday October 22.
Police officers met the two students at Columbia High School who reported that as they were walking on West Parker Avenue, when they passed Buckingham Gardens Parkway they were approached by the suspect, who "demanded the victims' cell phones and money and threatened to shoot them if they did not comply," according to Williams.

The students told police that no weapon was shown, but that the suspect implied that he was in possession of a weapon.
