SPRINGFIELD, NJ – On Wednesday at 7:00 p.m., the Springfield Free Public Library will host Chef Kirschner for a program titled, Don’t Throw Out That Leftover Matzo!
According to the library’s website “…Mr. Kirschner will focus on some of the more innovative recipes found in the cookbook, including matzo spanakopita, matzo spaetzel, and matzo tiramisu. Michele Streit Heilbrun, Kirschner’s co-author, is the great-granddaughter of Aron Streit, founder of the company that remains a major American producer of Passover matzo.”
David Kirschner owns and runs dineDK, which the website describes as “…a boutique private dining company that specializes in custom culinary experiences”. He is also the co-author of a cookbook “Matzo: 35 Recipes for Passover and All Year Long”.
Mr. Kirschner has worked with such noted chefs as Daniel Boulud, David Drake and Michael Mina and having been employed at such noted restaurants as Bar Boulud, Per Se, and SeaBlue at the Borgata in Atlantic City, he is currently the proprietor of dineDK, a boutique private dining company based in New Jersey.
