Born in California in the 1960s he made his way to New York in the late 1970s. By the 1980s he had made his mark combining suburbia with the excitement of pop culture creating characters that are original but familiar.

He was a product of the New York’s East Village and also exhibited in many museums thru the United States of America. Not one piece is duplicated.

“The collection we will be offering has over 20 original pieces by the artist. The pieces at one time retailed way over 6 -digit figures and will be offered to the highest bidder with no reserve,” Bodnar explained.

Highlights include a huge wall unit custom made for the collector that breaks apart in 5 pieces and has working lights, and an animated smoke stack. Also noted is a huge oil-on-canvas depicting airplanes and UFO’s with targets, cans, balls and other objects.

“The animated pieces of art are fun and unique,” Bodnar said.

Also offered from this collection is an original pastel by R.C. Gorman and large ceramic pottery vases and many lithographs by Gorman.

Other noted artists will be offered including Margaret Keane original art, Arthur Gibbons metal sculptures, Roberto Caracciolo oils, Barrett De Busk steel sculptures, Louis Sciullo oils, Veloy Vigil oils, Michael Young, Yankel Ginzburg, Jack Lord, Nahum Tevet and many more, Bodnar said.

Also beign sold without reserve is a rare Keith Haring modern pottery center piece.

Besides the art collection Bodnar will also offer an estate collection of 19th century Bronzes, life-size 20th century bronzes, marble busts, decorative arts and selection of mid-century Modern.

A George Nakashima free floating wall hanging sideboard will highlight the Mid-Century furniture as well as a new teakwood complete bedroom set in a Modern Design by Maurice Villency New York City.

Furniture will span over 150 years with many hand-carved European Continental accent pieces to quality Victorian oak to a pair of Hankel Harris Bachelor chests in showroom condition.

A collection of over 100 pieces of Roseville Pottery will be offered including vases, hanging baskets, pedestals, planters, candle sticks and other forms including almost every pattern known.
