June 13 - Robbery; At approximately 3 a.m., two males got into an argument at the 7-11 on Irvington Ave.  One male then attempted to take the others keys before fleeing when the police where called. Officers checked the area, but where unable to locate the male. The victim was not injured.

Truck Hits NJ Transit Train Bridge at Short Hills Avenue

MILLBURN, NJ - A box truck hit and became lodged underneath the NJ Transit train bridge over Short Hills Avenue at approximately 8:15 a.m. Wednesday morning, June 21. 

According to Millburn Police Captain Michael Mulligan, a tow truck was on scene within 20 minutes and there were no injuries. The train bridge was not damaged in the incident.

Vehicle Hits Smartie Building in Union

UNION, NJ – A vehicle struck the Ce De Candy Company building on Lousons Road Thursday afternoon, June 22, causing damage to the structure. The Ce De Candy Company manufacturers Smarties candy.

According to Fire Chief Michael Scanio, the vehicle hit the front of the building at 1091 Lousons Road, causing significant damage to the exterior and interior of the building.

Police Report $30,000 Loss from Break-in at Franklin Mineral Museum

FRANKLIN, NJ – Burglars broke into the Franklin Mineral Museum early Monday, June 19, around 4:40 a.m. stealing approximately $30,000 in precious stones, gems and minerals.
