MILLBURN, NJ - A South Orange man was arrested on Ridgewood Road for having multiple traffic warrants, Millburn Police said.

Larry Reddick, 48, was arrested on March 28 for having the warrants after Millburn Police found him sleeping inside of a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Ridgewood Road, police said.

He was issued a summons and released to the East Orange Police Department.

In other police news, on March 28, Millburn Police stopped a 2004 Toyota Corolla at the mall for having tinted windows. The investigation led to the arrest of 40-year-old Jorge Cordova of Orange on an outstanding traffic warrant out of East Orange. Cordova posted bail and was released.

On March 29, Millburn Police responded to a Clinton Avenue residence on a burglary to motor vehicle report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor(s) entered her 2017 Subaru Forester in the driveway and took a wallet containing $60 cash. The empty wallet was found by a neighbor. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On March 31, 2019, Millburn Police responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 35-year-old Kai Lin of Livingston concealed seven items valued at $272.00 in a bag and left the store without making payment. Lin was issued a summons and released.

On March 31, 2019, Millburn Police responded to the Irvington Police Department on a warrant arrest. Alfred Lovett, age 48, of Irvington was placed under arrest on an outstanding criminal warrant and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On April 2, 2019, Millburn Police stopped a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta on Millburn/Rt. 124 for maintenance of lamps and tinted front windows. The investigation led to the arrest of 21-year-old Eman Elsherif of Union for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Elsherif was issued a summons and released.

These are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they enter a guilty plea or are found guilty in a court of law.
