On January 8, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to a Myrtle Ave residence on a theft report. The resident reports the theft of a package valued at $150.00 containing a jacket. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 8, 2019 Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to Bloomingdales on a fraud report. Bloomingdales personnel report a black male approximately 6’ tall and weighing 200 lbs wearing a black baseball cap with “Kings” written on it, light blue shirt, and black pants fraudulently opened an account and charged $895.00 worth of merchandise. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 8, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to headquarters on a theft report. The victim states while working at 116 Millburn Ave, a black male wearing a black hat, blue jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes took her wallet from her purse. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 9, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Nacim responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report a black female with blue colored hair and wearing a long black coat concealed 10 items valued at $371.00 in a shopping bag and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 9, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Laverty responded to the mall on a motor vehicle theft report. The victim reports between 6:15-6:30 pm unknown actor/s took her 2016 Mercedes Benz C30 from parking lot E. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 9, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Nacim responded to Bloomingdales on a fraud report. Bloomingdales personnel report a black male wearing a black cap, black jacket, and black pants purchased an Apple Gift card valued at $250.00 using a stolen credit card. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 10, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Hunt responded to the Apple store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report that occurred on January 9, 2019. Apple personnel report a black male wearing a black puffy jacket, grey sweatsuit, and grey sneakers along with a black male wearing a black puffy jacket, white shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers took 19 Apple Pencils and 3 Black Magic trackpads valued at $2898.00 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 10, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Pinero responded to Benihana at 840 Morris Tpk on a fraud report. Benihana personnel report a black female with long black hair wearing a tan coat and a black male approximately 5’8” wearing a black coat used stolen credit cards to purchase $89.17 worth of food. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On January 11, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Wichelns stopped a 2002 BMW 325 at Millburn/Vauxhall for failing to maintain a lane. The investigation led to the arrest of 28 year old Tiana Allah of Newark for driving under the influence. Ms. Allah was issued a summons and released.

On January 13, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to the Footlocker store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Footlocker personnel report 26 year old Janavia Marable of Newark concealed 10 items in a bag and left the store without making payment. Ms. Marable was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On January 14, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Smeraldo responded to Bloomingdales on a theft report. Bloomingdales personnel report a black male approximately 5’5” carrying a yellow booster bag concealed 2 handbags valued at $746.00 and attempted to leave the store. The individual was stopped and the property recovered, however he fled on foot.  The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
