Visual Assessment Training

Get involved in your community by monitoring water quality in your own town. This workshop will teach you streamside techniques for visual assessments. We will start in the classroom then go out to the Rahway River for field work and practice what we’ve learned! Training will be given by Katie Harrison from NJDEP & Rahway River Watershed Ambassador Jennifer Helminski.

If you live in any of the following towns you can come to the FREE training workshop this Saturday October 13th from 1 to 3pm – Carteret, Clark, Cranford, Edison, Fanwood, Garwood, Kenilworth, Linden, Maplewood, Metuchen, Millburn, Mountainside, Orange, Plainfield, Rahway, Scotch Plains, Springfield, South Orange, Summit, Westfield,  West Orange, Winfield Park, Woodbridge and Union.

• Stream Team members must be 15 or older
