SOMA Film Festival continues to bring excellent international films in these trying times, and this week they bring you Corpus Christi.

Corpus Christi from Poland, and filmmaker Jan Komasa was nominated for "Best International Film" at the 2020 Academy Awards and is now available for the first time via a partnership between the festival and Film Movement, a movie distribution company.

Corpus Christi tells the story of a Polish ex-convict who wishes to join the priesthood, and cons his way into becoming a priest of a small town.

The Los Angeles Times calls Corpus Christie, "an Oscar nominated knock out" and the Washington Post declares, "it is an absorbing, spiritually attuned drama."

The trailer, and film are available HERE.

As part of the deal, SOMA Film Festival will collect 50% of your virtual ticket purpose which will go fully towards our operational needs, and our newly founded scholarship fund for Columbia High School students in need.
