MAPLEWOOD, NJ - The St. Patrick's Day celebrations begin at 8 a.m. this Saturday, March 17, at St. James's Gate and continue until last call late that night.
A special St. Patrick's Day menu will be served, which has traditional Irish dishes like shepherds pie, Irish stew and fish and chips.
There will be plenty of live music, with bagpipers playing throughout the day and a traditional Irish session featuring the flute and fiddle in the afternoon, according to St. James's Gate owner John Meade, Jr.
"For those heading to the parade in New York, we're open early and have a full Irish breakfast on the menu," said Meade.
St. James's Gate Publick House is located at 167 Maplewood Ave. in Maplewood, NJ.
