MAPLEWOOD, NJ - The Maplewood Village Alliance (MVA) has invitied all to its 8th Annual Art Walk Music Fest to be held, this Sunday, September 22nd from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Maplewood Village. This event goes on rain or shine.

There are 50 fine artists, many new to the event, displaying and selling their original work, plus live music by local bands all day long, in addition the ever-popular children’s community mural and other kid activities.

The art is the centerpiece of this event and it’s a juried show, judged by prominent members of the art community. There will be best in show, second and third place winners. Beyond the art, many Village merchants will be open or participating, so visit the Village that day and join the fun!
“This show started with the intent to showcase Maplewood’s robust community of
artists and musicians and it’s become so popular that it now draws artists from other
towns, Manhattan and even Boston. It’s a great event that combines the best of the arts
and businesses in the Village,” says Deb Yohannan, manager of the Maplewood Village
Alliance.
