SOUTH ORANGE/MAPLEWOOD, NJ — SOMA Film Festival announced today that it will postpone its 5th annual event; it was to take place from March 18-22 at The Woodland.
"We have been monitoring the current COVID-19 situation and in light of recommendations regarding public gatherings, and in discussions with town officials, we have decided that the best course of action is to postpone this year's festival. We will work to reschedule the event as soon as possible and all tickets purchased to date will be transferable with refunds being available to those who cannot make the new dates," stated festival founder and director Matt Smollon.
The festival announcement comes on the heels of the announcement that the Columbia High School musical, "Matilda" will also be postponed.
New dates for both events will be announced soon.
