SOUTH ORANGE AND MAPLEWOOD, NJ - Flu vaccination clinics are being held in both South Orange and Mapewood in October.
The South Orange Department of Health will offer Seasonal Influenza Vaccinations for adults age 18 and older on Thursday, October 26, rom 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the Township offices located at 76 South Orange Avenue, Suite 302, Conference Room 1, according to an update from South Orange Heath Officer John Festa.
According to Festa, "we will not be accepting Medicare Part B cards. Everyone will be charged $20 and will receive a receipt."

Maplewood will hold two influenza clinics on Wednesday, October 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturday, October 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to Candice Davenport, Public Health Nurse/ Health Educator for the Maplewood Health Department.
Both clinics will be held at the Maplewood Municipal Building located at 574 Valley St.
According to Davenport, the flu clinic is open to all residents of Maplewood, 18 years of age and older, and the cost is $20 per person. Flu vaccine is free for Maplewood residents who are 65 years of age and older, and for those under 65 years of age with Medicare and Medicaid. Walk-ins are welcome.
