Small Business Saturday – Saturday, November 30
Beginning on Small Business Saturday, SOVCA will kick off the holiday season by playing Small Business Bingo. The prize basket is worth over $1,000 in gift cards and merchandise.
“Small Business Bingo originated as an idea to highlight the wide variety of small businesses in downtown South Orange,” stated SOVCA Executive Director Julie Doran. “We wanted to make people aware of the fact that they can accomplish all their holiday shopping locally, and we wanted to highlight that message while adding a bit of fun and excitement to the holiday shopping season.”
There are 30 businesses participating and no purchase is necessary to play. Small Business Bingo runs from November 30 through December 23 and is generously sponsored by 7 Layer StudioandSadie’s. Visit the SOVCA webpageto learn how to play, see the list of participating businesses and download your bingo card. It’s fun, easy and convenient, just like downtown South Orange.
In addition, many downtown businesses are offering specials on and around Small Business Saturday. You’ll find these listed here: Small Business Saturday Promotions.
