SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - Starting this Friday, June 16, drivers in downtown South Orange will have a new parking option with the launch of a Valet Parking Pilot Program from the South Orange Parking Authority. The pilot program is scheduled to last six months.
According to the South Orange Parking Authority, the valet service will be run by AEValet, and motorists will be able to drop off their vehicles in the "Firehouse Lot." which is off of First Street (near the Zip Cars and Scooter Shelter). The valet service is open to all, regardless of their destination.
Vehicles will be parked by the valet service in the Third Street garage, and the fee will be $8 per car, which can be paid by cash or credit card, stated the South Orange Parking Authority.
The valet service will run Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
