MAPLEWOOD AND SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - It's almost farmers market time, with the Maplewood Farmers Market starting its 24th year on Monday, June 4, and the South Orange Farmers Market kicking off its 27th season on Wednesday, June 6.


The Maplewood market is weekly from June 4 to November 19, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The market will again be at its new location at 1848-1852 Springfield Avenue in the parking lot between Yale and Oberlin Streets.

The 27th Annual South Orange Farmers Market begins on Wednesday, June 6, and continues every Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. through October 31, in the Sloan Street parking lot across from the NJ Transit station.

Vendors for the full season include Bella Johns Soul Food, Hoboken Farms, and Stony Hill Farms.

Casita Mexican and Local 130 Seafood are two of the vendors which will be at the market for part of the season, and additional vendors are expected to be added throughout the season, according to the South Orange Village Center Alliance (SOVCA).

The Millburn Farmers Market is every Tuesday from June 5 to October 30, with a new time this year of 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Farmers Market is in the parking lot at the corner of Essex Street and Main Street in Millburn.
