November 19, 2019; Shoplifting; At approximately noon, officers responded to Walgreens on a reported shoplifter. Officers observed a male fitting the description of the actor walking from the area and detained him. The male identified as 46 year old Frank Wiley of Irvington was found to be in possession of several hundred dollars of medication and was taken into custody and charged with shoplifting.
November 19, 2019; Shoplifting; At approximately 6:15 pm, a male took candy from Wawa and fled from the store. Officers responded to the area, but were unable to locate the male.
November 22, 2019; Shoplifting; At approximately 5:45 pm, officers responded to the Walgreens on a reported shoplifter. A male, identified as Taurus McClain age 51 of Newark was detained after placing several medications in his jacket. He was placed under arrest, charged with shoplifting and transported to Essex County Jail on outstanding warrants.
November 22, 2019; Package Theft; A resident of Parker Ave reported that they reviewed their surveillance video and observed a package stolen from their home at approximately 4:30 pm.
November 22, 2019; Package Theft; At approximately 5:15 pm, a package was stolen from the porch of a home on Oakland Rd.
November 21-23, 2019; Package Theft; Sometime over the listed days a package was removed from a home on Harding St.
November 26, 2019; Burglary; At approximately 1:15 pm, a resident of Baldwin Rd observed a male inside her home. The male immediately fled from the home. At the time of the report it was believed that nothing was taken.
November 26, 2019; Shoplifting; At approximately 4:15 pm a male took a soda from the 7-11 store on Irvington Ave and fled without paying for it.
November 26, 2019; Package Theft; At approximately 3:10 pm a male on a bicycle stole a package from a home on Hillcrest Rd.
November 26, 2019; Motor Vehicle Theft; At approximately 3 am, an unsecured vehicle containing the keys was stolen from the driveway of a home on Courter Ave. It was later recovered in Newark.

We are asking that you assist us in this effort by making sure all vehicles and homes are properly secured at all times. All charges are merely accusations. Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
