July 13, 2019; Shoplifting; At approximately 8:15 am a male and female later identified as Nathaniel Powell, age 45 of Irvington and Danielle Sadowski, age 35 of Irvington were arrested after shoplifting several items from Walgreens and stealing a package while fleeing from Walgreens.
July 13, 2019; Shoplifting; At 5:30 pm, a female later identified as Tracey Jenkins, age 55 of Irvington was arrested after taking over $300 of merchandise from Walgreens and providing officers with false information when stopped.
July 13, 2019; Theft from Auto; During the overnight hours, an unsecured vehicle parked on Midland Blvd was entered and a small amount of cash was stolen.
July 13, 2019; Theft; During the daytime hours, a lawnmower left in the rear yard of a home on Schaefer Rd was stolen.
July 15, 2019; Shoplifting; At approximately 8:45 pm a male took several items and fled from the Walgreens without paying for the items. Officers responded and checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
July 15, 2019; Bicycle Theft; A resident responded to Headquarters and reported that between 6 and 6:30 the prior day, their unsecured bicycle was stolen from a bike rack behind 160 Maplewood Ave.
July 16, 2019; Motor Vehicle Theft; At approximately 11 pm a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home on Woodside Rd was stolen.
July 19, 2019; Theft from Auto; During the overnight hours an unsecured vehicle parked on the 300 block of Boyden Ave was entered and keys were stolen.
July 21, 2019; Bicycle Theft; During the daytime hours a bicycle was stolen from the garage of an apartment complex on Springfield Ave.
The Maplewood Police Department works hard to protect the residents and their property. We are asking that you assist us in this effort by making sure all vehicles and homes are properly secured at all times. All charges are merely accusations. Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
