SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — During the early morning hours of November 14, 2019 a Turrell Avenue resident reported someone entered her vehicle and stole change and two phone chargers. Detective Bureau investigating the incident. 

On November 15, 2019 at approximately 1:45 p.m. a South Kingman Road resident reported someone walked up to her front door and stole her package. He can be seen getting into a white van then driving off.  The suspect is a white male with a baseball cap, unshaven, wearing a gray sweatshirt. Anyone who may be able to identify this individual, seen in the photograph above, can contact the South Orange Detective Bureau at (973) 763-3000 ext. 7798.

On November 18, 2019 at approximately 6:45 p.m. units responded to a motor vehicle accident on South Orange Avenue. When officers arrived they spoke with the driver, Fernando Morochomoroco, a 39-year-old West Orange resident; it was determined that Mr. Morochomoroco was under the influence of alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to South Orange PD. He was charged with DWI and Assault by Auto along with several other motor vehicle violations. 

On November 20, 2019 at approximately 4 p.m. a Milton Place resident witnessed an individual steal a package from a resident on Milton Place then walk east on Varsity Road into Newark. South Orange officers responded to the area and located Louis Norfleet, a 54-year-old Newark resident. After a brief foot pursuit Norfleet was apprehended and transported to SOPD.  Norfleet was charged with three counts of theft and resisting arrest. He was also found to be wanted out of Reading, PA for a prior burglary. Norfleet was transported to the Essex County Jail.
