Burglary to Auto — An Arnold Terrace resident reported someone gained entry into their vehicle, while it was parked in their driveway, during the overnight hours on March 25th thru March 26th.  The only item taken was a car charger.  

Shoplifting — On March 26, 2020 at approximately 7:30 p.m. an employee observed a customer conceal two bottles of vodka and exit the store.  Joseph Underhill, a 41-year-old Morristown resident was stopped by South Orange Police a short distance away.  Underhill was issued a summons for shoplifting and released on the scene.  The two bottles of vodka were recovered and returned to the store.

Criminal Sexual Contact/ Harassment —On March 27, 2020 George Berkeley, a 69-year-old East Orange resident, responded to South Orange Police Department in reference to an investigation he was the subject of.  While at South Orange Police Department he was advised he was being charged with two counts of Harassment- disorderly person offenses and two counts of Criminal Sexual Contact- 4th Degree crimes, involving two separate adult female victims from two separate incidents in time.  Berkeley was issued his complaints and released pending his court dates.  Investigation is on-going at this time.  Anyone that may have information regarding these incidents or any other incidents involving criminal activity can contact the South Orange Detective Bureau/ Police Department at (973) 763-3000 ext. 7797.

Burglary to Auto — On March 29, 2020 a Warwick Avenue resident reports unknown person(s) entered their vehicle, which was parked in their driveway, during the overnight hours. The victim reports nothing missing at this time however the glove box and center console were ransacked and items were strewn throughout the vehicle.
