SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - Three incidents of Criminal Mischief were reported on Halloween night, according to the South Orange Police Blotter.

SMASHED HALLOWEEN ORNAMENT ON BERKELEY AVENUE

A Berkeley Avenue resident reported that at about 8:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, an unknown group of juveniles knocked over and smashed a glass Halloween ornament that was outside his home. The group then fled the scene before the victim could get a more detailed description.

VEHICLE DAMAGED ON SOUTH STANLEY ROAD

A South Stanley Road resident reported that sometime between 7 p.m. and  7:30 p.m on Wednesday, Oct. 31, an unknown person or multiple people damaged her vehicle, which was parked in front of her residence at the time. It appeared the person/people jumped on the trunk, roof, and hood, which shattered the windshield and caused extensive damage.  

EGGS THROWN AT HOME ON SECOND STREET

A Second Street resident reported that at about 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, a person, or multiple people, threw eggs at his house. The victim could not provide any further details or information and a search of the area for the individuals was negative.
