MAPLEWOOD, NJ -- Columbia built an 11-point halftime lead and went on to post a 57-51 boys basketball victory over Chatham Tuesday night.

Freshman point guard Jalen Robinson scored 20 points, handed out six assists and came up with four steals for the Cougars (11-12), who got out to an 18-11 lead after a quarter. They led by 13 points going into the fourth quarter.

Nigel Garcia sank three 3-pointers and scored 11 points for Columbia. Josiah Lawful collected eight points, 13 rebounds and four blocks, and Andrew Rowley grabbed eight rebounds in the victory.
