SOUTH ORANGE-MAPLEWOOD, NJ -- The Columbia field hockey team secured its first victory of the season, 6-1, over Scotch Plains-Fanwood on Tuesday.

Annie Pasternak scored four goals and compiled two assists for the Cougars (1-1-1). Kat Turi connected for the other two Columbia goals. Hudson Hassler also contributed two assists in the triumph.

Emma Reininga made eight saves for Columbia. Jasmine Dallison had four saves.
