NEWARK, NJ -- Columbia pulled away in the third quarter and went on to a 58-33 girls basketball victory over Collegiate High School of Newark on Saturday.

Kaijhe Hall scored 16 points for the Cougars (8-4), who outscored Collegiate, 20-10, in the third quarter to take a 40-26 lead.

Shana Desir finished with 12 points and Bella Gallat had 10 points for Columbia, which closed out the game on an 18-7 spurt. Maia Little contributed eight points to the victory.
