LIVINGSTON, NJ -- Columbia rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit to defeat the Newark Academy girls basketball team, 38-37, Tuesday afternoon.

Maia Little canned three 3-pointers and scored 11 points for the Cougars (6-4), who outscored Newark Academy, 22-14, in the second half to overcome a 23-16 deficit.

Kaijhe Hall scored nine points and Corteney Provilon-Louis added seven points for Columbia. Newark Academy is 4-9.
