WEST ORANGE, NJ -- The Columbia-Nutley co-op ice hockey team finished in a 2-2 tie with Millburn on Monday at Codey Arena.

Rocco Albanese's third-period goal for Columbia-Nutley (2-1-1) tied the game, 2-2. Justin Devlin scored the other goal for Columbia.

Devlin's goal with 2:48 left in the opening period tied the game, 1-1. His even-strength tally came with assists by Joe Melillo and Zach Fagin. Albanese's goal with 12:13 left in the third period was assisted by Fagin.

Johnny Matrona was tested often in goal, and the Columbia-Nutley goalie knocked aside 44 shots out of 46 that he faced.

Ryan Potechin (first period) and Ben Hayum (second period) scored the goals for the Millers.
