SOMERS, N.Y. - DeCicco & Sons has announced the official opening of their Somers location for Friday, May 3.

After several months of delays, as well as hundreds of emails, phone calls and Facebook messages from eager customers, the brand new DeCicco & Sons located on Route 202 in Somers, will welcome its first patrons into the grocery store. The store will open its doors at 7:30 a.m., with a ribbon cutting scheduled for 1 p.m.

“We are very excited for this opening,” said John DeCicco Jr., the chain’s CEO. “This store continues our trend of creating locations that are integral parts of their local community. Our stores are places where people do more than shop, they are places where people gather, and we wanted to make sure that was reflected in the design. We want our stores to be comfortable and inviting, as well as convenient.”
