OYSTER BAY, N.Y.— It was a big night on both sides of the ball for Kennedy Catholic out in Oyster Bay, Long Island, on Oct. 7. The Gaels were led by senior quarterback David Keogh and improved to 2-3 overall in CHSAA play by defeating St. Dominic’s, 41-14.

Keogh led the way on offense with five rushing touchdowns on eight carries for 125 yards along with going 7 for 15 for 173 yards through the air with one touchdown.

Edward Longest led the way on defense with nine solo tackles as the Gaels held St. Dom’s to under 200 yards of total offense. Kennedy hits the road again Saturday, Oct. 15, against Nazareth at 7 p.m. It’s the Gaels’ second meeting with Nazareth, as they defeated them 38-14 back on Sept. 17.
