ORANGEBURG, N.Y. —Third-seeded Somers cruised past second-seeded Tappan Zee 17-6 in the Section 1 Class B girls lacrosse semifinals on Tuesday.

The Tuskers (12-6) advance to the Class B final, where they will face Yorktown for the fourth-straight year on Thursday at 5 p.m. at Yorktown High School. Yorktown ended Somers' two-year reign as champions last year, handing the Tuskers a 10-9 defeat.

Livy Rosenzweig, Teagan Lucchese and Hannah Tiso had four goals apiece in the Tuskers' win over the Lady Dutchmen. Sophia Fiorino added three goals and an assist, while Katie Campbell had two goals and an assist. Jess Monaco made nine saves in the cage for a Tusker team that led 7-2 at halftime.
