SOMERS, N.Y.— Somers’ boys lacrosse team has faced a brutal schedule in the early going and lost two games last week to fall to 1-4 on the season. The Tuskers narrowly fell to visiting Rye, 10-9, on Tuesday, April 4. They then lost 7-5 to Connecticut powerhouse Greenwich on Saturday, April 8, at home.

Against Rye, Vincent Cartelli sparked Somers with four goals and two assists, while Connor Gill added two goals.

Andrew Lowman tallied two goals and an assist in the setback to Greenwich. Cartelli, Gill and Graham Roediger added a goal apiece. Evan Kieltyka scooped up six groundballs.

Somers hosts Arlington today at 4:30 p.m. and then travels to Pleasantville for a 4:30 p.m. game on April 18.
