BEDFORD, N.Y. – The Somers Library Foundation held its Spring Bridge and Games Luncheon at the GlenArbor Golf Club in Bedford Hills on Wednesday, April 26. Attendees enjoyed lunch, a raffle and silent auction, games such as bridge, canasta, Scrabble, mahjong and more. Proceeds from the event will be used to enhance the Somers Library. Somers Library Foundation is an independent, non-profit fundraising organization that partners with the Somers Library in order to enhance library services. SOMERS, N.Y.-It wasn’t the result Somers’ girls basketball team wanted when it headed to John Jay-Cross River on Feb. 9, but the Tuskers still managed a share of the league championship after a 48-38 loss.
