This letter is in response to the comment Rick Melen had in his column in the Feb. 23 issue on some important things that presidents have said in the past that resonate with people. The thing that resonates with most people in the U.S.A. and the world today is what President Trump said and is still saying: “WE WILL MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”
Rick, it would be nice if you would be honest and tell the whole story of what this quote (“tiny children are not horses”) was taken from and the complete quote, or is this quote from an UNNAMED SOURCE?
Editor’s Note: On Sept. 3, 2014, Donald Trump tweeted: “No more massive injections. Tiny children are not horses—one vaccine at a time, over time.”
