Virtual Presentation: Effective Communication Strategies When Caring for Those with Alzheimer’s & Dementia at the Somers Library
Wednesday, July 29, 1:00—2:30 pm

Individuals living with dementia often experience changes in behavior that can be confusing to friends and family. For caregivers, learning to decode messages through attitude, tone of voice, facial expressions and body language can help both parties to connect and communicate in meaningful ways. This program will help explain the communication changes that take place in a person with dementia and identify strategies to connect and communicate at each stage of the disease. You will need to be registered in order to participate. Please register on our online calendar here in order to have access to this meeting. You will receive an invitation prior to the start of the webinar. Presented by the Alzheimer's Associatiation Hudson Valley Chapter.

Our programs are funded by The Friends of the Library - thanks for your support!
