Last week, on Oct. 29, the New York State Assembly’s Committee on Health opened up the floor to discuss a bill that would bar children 12-and-under from playing tackle football.

The result, as expected, was hundreds of bare-bones articles slapped together in 10 minutes containing nothing but a few paragraphs and a headline (something like: “New York Considers Banning Tackle ...
